Hello,
I do I move back to interface 0.20 using the shell?
I installed the 0.31 manually in 10.1 but now it is stuck in a loop of the install wizard.
thanks,
Etienne

I suppose You should download and extract the web interface to its place.
I've made a SHARE with available webinterfaces for download.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/juh8hm43dlg0qky/AAD4s_hPPrrdHkREzD11ZCb0a?dl=0

Start with version 2 beta 9 and go backwards.
cd /usr/local/www/zfsguru/
fetch https://www.dropbox.com/s/pdh0cpjz5da4qtw/ZFSguru-0.2b9-webinterface.tgz?dl=0
tar -xzvf ZFSguru-0.2b9-webinterface.tgz
shutdown -r now

.. hope it's working

Thanks karmantyu and for keeping the interfaces around.

I did the instructions in support/1165 thread.
No idea what went wrong.

After trying again, without reverting back to 0.2 I noticed an error at the last step of the setup wizard:
ERROR: Failed writing to /usr/local/www/zfsguru//config/config.bin - check permissions!

Any idea where I can get the '//' corrected? Kind of weird as I didn't see any steps where I had to enter this info; meaning how could it have changed.

Thanks,
Etienne

I still think You should step back to an older webinterface release. As far as I remember the different distros were not compatible with the web interfaces, so you can not expect to have seamless working webinterface 0.3.1 on a 10.1-001 image. If the system is upgraded to vanilla FreeBSD we still need some tinkering on the webinterface 0.3.1 to have working samba functions too.

You may also try first
chown -R zfsguru-web:zfsguru-web /usr/local/www/zfsguru

Thanks, got it back to working again with 0.20
Had some user issues, however using "reset web interface" menu option solved the last errors.

CiPHER wrote: Step 1. Create a user and group called 'zfsguru-web' with uid 888 and gid 888:

pw groupadd zfsguru-web -g 888
pw useradd zfsguru-web -u 888 -d /nonexistent -s /sbin/nologin

Step 2. Change /usr/local/etc/sudoers to allow zfsguru-web access instead of user 'www'.

ee /usr/local/etc/sudoers

Step 3. Now, let the webserver Lighttpd run with the new user by modifying /usr/local/www/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf, and replace the current 'www' user configuration with 'zfsguru-web' like this:

server.username = "zfsguru-web"
server.groupname = "zfsguru-web"

Step 4. Then you might need to change permissions to zfsguru-web for some directories:

chown -R 888:888 /var/spool/lighttpd
chown -R 888:888 /var/log/lighttpd

Step 5. Finally, start the webserver:

service lighttpd restart
