System: Supermicro H8SML-7F motherboard, amd opteron 3350 HE cpu, 16GB ecc ram, sas over sata from lsi 2308 integrated sas, system image 10.3.006 featuring FreeBSD 10.2-STABLE with ZFS v5000.ZFSguru version 0.3.1 pool in usb drive.

Are you doing local playback on the ZFSguru system, or over the network?
If network, using samba or nfs? I've got a similar setup with 6x seagate 7k sas disks with 4k ashift=13, on an older lsi 1068 with older opteron 2218, over a 1Gbps network with cheap netgear switch, and I play some pretty high bitrate files without any issues. What does a "top" look like on the server when the stuttering happens?

The smartctl output from sas disks looks completely different from sata, so the scripts under the webui can't interpret the data. It isn't due to the controller, as my sata disks on a sas bus report fine.

I'm doing 1080p on average files, using MPC-HC(update it two times in a year). System is DAS - direct line from my laptop, so stream goes over network, 1Gbps network on both. I do not get any more than 10% of cpu load, when playing. Web interface got very slow with new version of zfs, had 9.1 or 9.2 before, but it could be some issues with usb drive. I'm thinking if I should get LSI 9201-16 and try go with it so I can use my old 8xWD hdd and another 3xWD hdd pools next to new 6xhgst, or get two more drives and try to go with 8 drive zfs z2 setup(costs a lot, since got six pack for cheap, now it costs about 42% more for me per drive), in that case I could get rid of my old 8x wd 4tb z2 pool along with 3x wd 4tb pool, put them all on a shelf, until I get larger case, maybe. P.S. just remembered, I get clicks from hdd's, but they are supposed to be normal operation as per forum and support indicates.
