Will there be a 32-bit build for the 10 and 11 releases?

Yes, once GuruDB is working Jason will also build 32-bit system versions. Perhaps also ARM in the future, though we have no way to test that currently.

The latest 32-bit release is for 9.2: http://zfsguru.com/forum/zfsgurudevelopment/741

Beware that 32-bit can cause issues for ZFS in terms of kernel memory starvation, as well as problems in the ZFSguru web-interface for example on the Disk partition map editor. Since the web-interface uses PHP to render the pages, and PHP uses native integers, this means 32-bit systems also use 32-bit integers instead of 64-bit. This means working with large numbers is problematic.

But i'm using a 32-bit embedded system running ZFSguru just fine. So it's possible. Just don't use it for high I/O load or other intensive tasks. 64-bit really is better for that.

+1 vote for not spending time on 32bit builds.
