Forums have been around for some time, but to those new to this web interaction here are some mandatory guidelines which you are expected to follow.

1. Search if your question/topic already was posted on the forums
  • There is no search available, but please make a reasonable effort finding threads about common issues.

2. Create a topic with clear topictitle and provide enough details in the message body.
  • A bad topic title is "help me!!!" as it provides no description about your problem.
  • A good topic title is "Problems when importing zpool" since its short and defines the problem well.
  • Be thorough when you post something; give us all the details and tell us what you've tried already.
  • Please keep an eye on grammar and punctuation, to the best of your ability. Also try to avoid long sentences, and using paragraphs to structure your post clearly. The better we can understand you, the better we can help you!

3. Be aware of your actions
  • Anything you post is public; available to the entire internet. Keep this in mind when posting personal stuff. Search engines can cache data and make it available even after you edited or removed parts of your message.
  • Be friendly! It only elevates your position and increases the chance of positive feedback or constructive criticism.

That's it for now, enjoy! And don't be shy to ask anything, as long as you pay heed to what is mentioned above.
